Understanding the Self is a fundamental course in General Education Curriculum for tertiary Education. It is designed to help students understand the nature of identity, including factors that influence and shape personal identity. The main purpose of this course is to help students develop a more critical and reflective attitude in exploring issues and concerns that pertain to the self for a better understanding of themselves and others. It will also help them identify and play their significant role in our society.
